i bought these cold cathode tubes from the 98 ls 400 but i cannot find a way to power them up! any helpful info would be greatly appreciated! btw,these tubes illuminate the speedometer and the tachometer that cool bright white color.

 

you need an inverter to power those, they are not power directly from 12V

 

how can i get an inverter for these tubes?any suggestions on how to wire these to custom these to my dash

 

you need to know the brand and the part number for the tube to find an compatible inverter.

or go to the dealer and ask them to sell you the inverter for these, ask them for the schematic on how to wire the tube up also.

not really a straight forward procedure of plug an play. You need to understand the schematic of the dash lighting in order to figure out what part do you need or whether they even sell you the part.
