Default suggestions on white/bluish white 9005 bulbs?

anybody know of some nice, bright white colored or bluish-white (hid-like) 9005 high beam bulbs? im using piaa xtreme white plus bulbs and they just arent the right color or brightness. they are 60W. i'm looking to stick at 65-70W 9005 bulbs to use in my low beam 9006 harness - i had 80W bulbs that the previous owner had put in and they melted one of my 9006 harnesses (they were 9006 bulbs). so if anybody knows of any bright white bulbs (but preferably the kind that are white with a blue hue, like where the glass is blue) that are good quality, safe, BRIGHT, and will last, please let me know.

the reason im unhappy with my piaa's is that, while theyre good quality bulbs, the 9005's they make are 60W and, while they look white when youre looking at my car, the light they emit still has a yellow hue and they just arent that bright due to their wattage.

edit - my current piaa bulbs have a real light blue tint to the glass, but my older 80W bulbs have a nice dark blue color to the glass, not unlike those plasma blue license plate bulbs youll see on ebay. basically i just want something brighter and bluer.

The blue coating absorbs a lot of the light. So, there's a trade-off between blue color and useable light. Additionally, to get even close to stock light output, the wattage has to be cranked up, which is bad for the harness, etc.
Sylvania SilverStars and Razo Premium White Zero are two good bulbs that have a good balance between color, light output, and draw a safe wattage.
SilverStar 9005's draw 65W and have no cap at the end (they're usually used as high beam bulbs). Not sure about the wattage on the Razo's. I'm happy with the SilverStars.

any word on these headlight harness upgrades i see on ebay? im talking about the kind that claim to be safer for the higher wattage bulbs. anybody know if they actually work and will work with an sc4? a lot of these harnsses and blue bulbs im seeing are made by nokya. anybody have any experience with them or know if their products are decent quality?

If you want bright upgrade to HID. Well worth the $$. I have silverstars in my fogs and love them. They are 4100k or so.
