Looking at this set for a future upgrade.. Has anyone has any issues with these lights or getting dash lights?

I just happened to stumble in the section Tony. Not sure if you found an answer to your question but I've been running mine for quite some time and think it's a worthwhile upgrade. I have somewhat of a concern with them which is how they appear in the daytime particularly when the sun is rising and setting. I was behind another GS with these same tails and it seemed dim as the sun was shining directly on them around sunset. Despite that I really like these tails especially since the inner tails don't light up with that square pattern like some other brands. I recommend doing the mod that makes them light up brighter when the brakes are applied. I chose not to install the included resistors because many have reported that they run very hot when installed. As a result the dash light comes on but I put a piece of electrical tape over it. There are a couple of threads in the 2GS section with good info on the tails.
