Default for those with clear turn signals...what bulbs?

okay so I cleared my front turns on my GS...and they look great. But running with the stock, bulbs I'm just asking for trouble from the cops...so I decided to go get some orange bulbs and put them in....well now they don't look clear anymore!

so the question is...are there bulbs out there that are clear in appearance but emit an amber light?

btw I got the polarg M-1 bulbs...

thanks,
jawn

Philips makes a line of bulbs called SilverVision. They're amber turn signal bulbs coated with a very thin layer of silver paint, so they look silver when not lit. They light up with the proper amber color and brightness.

I was about to start a new thread when I saw this one after doing a search. I had the same question.

Those SilverVision lights look good but here are a few other options I found.

I was thinking of going with 4 bulb LED's like these.

http://www.xtremewhite.com/ORD-Light...13-1-1-1-1.cfm
http://shop.store.yahoo.com/dpstore/194ledamhypb.html

Or with this Polarg Visual Amber.

Any thoughts/opinions?

Instruction how to clear the front signal posted on my site.

Search for amber or yellow 7440 on the web.

Note: the front signal light is 21W, Don't use LED for the front, NOT enough light, lots of LED lgith advertise 5W+, there is NO LED you can get for $10 that can produce "real" 5W of light compare to regular bulb. This is just hype. Look directly to LED, it look brighter, but any other angle, it sux.

Unless you don't want incoming traffic to see that you are turning, then go for the LED. (the LED are not DOT approve and only for show)
