Ok, got all my new lights, but question
The new headlights that I got are the chrome ones, but my 2000 has a painted strip that matches the color of the car in between the top head lights and the bottom where the turn signals are, but the new headlights have a chrome strip there, will this be a problem? should the chrome strip be removed before we install or should the painted strips not be used? My husband is ready to get to work on them, but I am not in any hurry as I dont want them messed up. thanks

The old paint strip on mine was glued to the headlamps. I decided to leave the Chrome strip on, because I think it looks better... especially with matching Chrome Lexus rims.
I noticed this strip can be quite flimsy so if you're going to use your originals be careful not to bend them too much when you remove them. I can imagine what a nightmare it would be to tweak and bend them back into place.
Take care,
Hando

How do you get the headlight buckets out? I have an '02 w/factory HID's and I want to change the foglight bulbs. You can't get to them and I undid the two obvious screws that seem to hold the buckets in, but they still won't come out.
