i had ddm for about 3 years, still going strong. I had 6000k 55watt and the bulb were dying so i replaced them looks brand new. Have them for my fogs and lows

Trust me get 5000k or 6000k no higher or else it'll be too blue and your light output will suck

Whatever you do, don't go for a 55W HID kit. Many vendors use 35W bulbs in their "55W" HID kits. They end up overdriving the 55W bulbs meaning that the bulbs burn hotter (can damage your housing) and burn out quicker. While 55W HID kits do emit slightly more light output (approx 15%), the additional light output does not necessarily translate into functional light output as you will find that 55W kits do not provide as even of a light spread as 35W kits.

I had a different experience with HIDextra recently. I received a defective bulb in my kit, emailed them for a replacement as instructed, and never received it. I've tried to contact them numerous times to get the bulb replaced and now they simply ignore emails and phone calls. I will definitely go with Xenon Depot in the future as I've only heard good things about their products and customer service.

NYGS3ANDY,

Thanks for taking the time to post some feedback. Let me know what you think once you get them installed!

EleeGS - Do you get a lot of snow/fog where you are? If so I would suggest getting a 3000k HID kit.

NYGS3ANDY - Looking forward to the pics!!! Glad you're enjoying your Volt HID kits :-)

What you pay is what you get. If you want a peace of mind and top notch customer service, buy from Xenon Depot.
