I concur.....The funny thing is that the 2nd least popular projector on that list happens to be the best of the 5! (Hahha)

Actually no, the 3 series and the tt are the same projector which beings their compbined vote to 9 (2nd on the list). I think overall how the voting came out is pretty accurate to what's the best overall projector among the ones listed.

If we're going to be technical then the bixenon m3/ audi tt/ 3 series projectors are pretty much the same thing (with the exception of the soilinoid on the bixenon version). So techinically that would make the Valeo (A4/S4) least popular on this list but most popular today. Isn't that ironic

Hmm why are those the only projector options? Imo all of those projectors are avarage output projectors, the only one there to stand out is the bi-xenon one and the only reason it does stand out is because its bi-xenon. What are you looking for in terms of color or output?. If you want color then go with valeo projectors, they can give you so much color it might be illigal , if you want output go with stanley projectors, like the tsx, rx-330, s2k or lexus ls. Bosch and hella projectors really dont put out a very wide beam and even with color mod you wont get as much color as the valeo there for I think there even worth retrofitting.

Right! The first S2000 retrofit started back in 2003 and the Acura TSX car wasn't even made yet LOL!!!!!
Hell people didn't even know about shield bending or other forms of squeezing more enhancements to their HID projectors yet!
Retrofitting is still a new industry in its like 4th public year. Much thanks go to Herman and the originators at the HID FAQ site the worlds first and still best retrofitting website

1. HID kit - Includes bulb, ballast, and wiring. Usually plug and play, some better than others in this aspect.
2. OEM HID - you can buy this with the car. If your car does not come with HIDs, you can replace the OEM halogen-based housings with OEM HID housings, bulbs, ballasts, and some wiring changes. You won't get auto-leveling capabilities as the OEM installed systems but you will have the same output once the reflectors are aimed. Although you are seemingly retrofitting OEM HIDs into your car, the term retrofit tends to be what is in 3 below.
3. Retrofit HIDs - In the case of earlier Lexus cars, HID means reflector-based HIDs. Many prefer the HIDs output from projector-based system. What retrofitting refers to is to buy projectors from other cars (and bulbs and ballasts, not always necessarily from the same car) and making them fit and work in your car.
