Need Help: So when I bought my 1993 Lexus SC, I noticed that when I turned my blinkers on the fog light will turn on too [right blinker, right fog light and left blinker, left fog light]. My fog lights also won't turn on when I want them to, only when I use the blinkers. How can I go about fixing this? And why would anyone do that?

I think the early sc's have cornering lights that do exactly what you said and not fog lights.

 

yes cornering lights....you can't fix what isn't broken, you can swap them for some foglights

There are a few DIY threads on how to make them Fogs. Just do a quick search.

 

Cheeeyah I found some once I typed "corner/cornering light". But it doesn't bother me so much now that I know they are supposed to that.
