Default License Plate Light SC 1st gen help!

So after spending countless hours doing searches and reading I was not able to avoid making a thread. I'll try to keep it short and simple.

Basically my light on the license plate was out, I got good info from search results on here at Clublexus.com. Saw some pics, read what size color and this and that about license plate lights. So I went out, got me some nice bulbs, replaced the old ones, I even clear/clean the plastic covers that had some dirt build up to them. Anyways, here I am still searching for a DIY on how to fix the License PLate Lights if they dont actually Light up.

So my question is, How would I fix my License Plate Light if they are not working after getting new bulbs?

Maybe the light assembly is unplugged, or the wires might be old. Could also be a fuse. Take the whole assembly out ( Just 3 screws) and check it out behind the housing

I doubt its a fuse unless it has a single fuse for it, cause on manual it says fuse 12 its tail lights, side marker and license plate.

so the 3 screws that are over the license plate but outside the light cover correct?

Well I took out the 3 F'ing screws out using pressure pliers since I ran the ridges trying to unscrew them.
I had never seen the assembly before, so the left side of the light fixture is shorter than the right side, so I guess it is broken?
Cause it seems to me that it should be a single piece? Could anyone answer me this?

So to test the assembly I took out the door's light bulb out since they are the same that go in the license plate,
the right bulb lights up and the left side does not.

Since I don't know how to fix that, I am in search of a License Plate Light Assembly...

Did you try switching sides of the bulb?

The bulbs you bought might not be bi-polar.

Yes I did if you mean sliding them in back in after a 180° turn.
