Default Hid Lights

I bought a lexus rx300 (2002) it didnt come with HID's cuz thats all they had on the lot. Its a coach edition. How would i get HID's put in? I want the real thing . If any one knows about any CHEAP GOOD QUALITY knock off bulbs that would be good to know also .

-Thanks.

HEY Sweet, welcome to the boards.

Gotta get some pics of that Coach edition up, i want to see it. The wheels also, graphite...

as for HIDS, look around the site, you'll find more then enough information about them. But to make things short, You can get a aftermarket HID kit for about 579. Thats how much i got mine for and i'm loving it.

its easy to install also so don't worry about it

spinteews is right, do a search, I guarantee you'll find way more than you wanted to know about xenon lighting for your vehicle. The way to go is an aftermarket kit - not as good as OEM in terms of the lighting optics, but other than that it's what you'll want - if you don't mind the $500+ price tag.

I've ordered some Phillips HID's and will be installing them sometime in the middle of next week (if they arrive on time).

aftermarket HID's are nice. but if you don't have that pretty penny to spend on SERIOUSLY REAL HID's, there's always the good knockoff's. my bro got a set of Nokya bulbs for like $40 for high and low beams for both sides. you can find them on eBay i think. but if you can't you can ring me up and i can get you some. this is only a last resort if you don't have that $500+ to spend on headlights. but your choice. real HID's ARE better. but it's a lot of money. oh y`ah and post some pics. i'd REALLY like to see that Coach Edition.
