Default 92 SC400 opening headlights opinions please

I have just restored the outer side of my headlights. I will open the headlights soon. I think I am working with stock plastic projector headlights. From the out side it looks like my parking lights on both sides are burn with a orange look. What should I do about this. I intend to install Hallos on both low and high beams. Are there anythings I should do, add on, or consider doing. I intend to open the lights only once.

Wow, what a kinda broad subject to ask about. There are many things you can do with these headlights. About the orange parking light issue inside the headlight, replace them with another color of choice, either with a LED from V-LED or superbrightleds.com, or another 194 type bulb, color and brightness up to you. I dont know the look you are after.
As for the side orange marker lights on the side of the bumper, this is the DIY that I did.. ....https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...ight-redo.html
I havent changed out the color of the bulbs yet, to match my tag lighting, due to they havent come in yet.. Just a idea while you are it.
If your plans are to open only once, use the DIY by OLT and follow his directions exactly. I chose to just simply replace the 55 watt standard bulb on the low beam,
to a 65 watt Slyvania type bulb that puts out 50% more lighting, not the average 30-35%. They were $50 for the set from Oreilys. This was enough brightness to me after I cleaned, wet sanded, and polished, the inner and outer factory lense cover, and finally the lense itself. Night and day difference. Hallos maybe what you are after for the type look and brightness that YOU want.. I chose a different route, and in the end, I am happy with my mods!
When you open the headlights, make sure to use 100% black silicone. You may have to reheat the black back cover in the oven a couple of times to reactivate the super sticky OEM glue. This will ensure you get all the sticky stuff out of there. I also used a 5 way putty knife to get it out of there. Lastly, use zip ties to secure the headlight together until it dries. This will insure it stays tight and together. In the end, I also siliconed around all of the rubber gaskets where the bulbs inserted into the housing.. I didnt want these to leak at all! I hope this helped you out a little bit in what color to choose, a few mods, and a DIY! Lastly, I converted my turn signal lights into fogs with this link.......
