Default HID fogs blowing fuse using stock wires

98 gs400.
I installed HID in the fog lamps, using factory LEXUS ballasts and splicing into foglamp wires. With one ballast installed, no problems. But when I install the 2nd ballast, the 15 amp fuse blows.

I've searched and read that you can up the fuse to 20amps. I tried that,25a, and even 30a. Still blew the fuse.

I tried reversing polarity on the drivers side and still blew the fuse. I know some have done this without a relay. I was hoping to do the same thing.

Any help?

Thx in advance.

u might want to install relay kit to run the power directly from your battery terminal, this way you will always have enough power source to backup your hid ..

For some reason. I re-plugged everything as when I first connected them and threw a 20a fuse in there and everything is working now. Well except for my passenger side low. Traced it back to a burned connection.

thx

Get one from our vendors. I think Xenon Depot is the cheapest
