Default Fog Light help

Alright guys need some help here.

My driver side fog light has gone out.

I thought it was the ballast so I bought a whole new HID conversion kit and installed it. The light still doesnt work.

checked fuse. fuse is good. still doesnt work.

replaced steering wheel light stalk. still doesnt work.

any ideas on what else to check? did i miss anything?

all the wires are connected right blah blah blah. only other thing i can think of is a bad wire in the harness. dont really want to go tracing the wires if there something else i can check first.

car is a 99 gs 400.

thanks

With the power to your fog tapped to a multimeter does it read any voltage?

If not, trace the wiring back to the harness, and see if there is any monkey business.

If your passenger works fine, try following that wire up through the harness to see why it works, and your driver doesn't.

Yes you have to trace your wires, and you will find the missing link.

Why don't you get a meter and put the leads on the plug to see if it has power? Very quick,
