D4S bulbs won't work with D2 ballasts. It'll just cut on for a couple seconds then cut off.

like ive posted in other threads i am using a xenondepot 6000K foglight conversion, just one blown fuse. i am using mobilehid 6000K D4S bulbs for the lows, which fire up perfectly. so both are fine.

I've recently used www.mobilehid.com to order a set D2R for my 99 GS400. I was very impressed with the great customer service and fast delivery. Thanks Cliffud for everything. the bulbs work great and was easy to install.

Glad to hear the good news Ed.

It's refreshing to see how new 4300k bulbs really do perk up the look of the car huh? My dad just had his swapped out about a month ago on his 98 GS400.
