Turn off DRL without trun on headlight

Can DRL truned off without trun the headlight on?
Since I installed angel eyes, the yellow DRL looks really weak and ugly, but I don't want to take the bulb off cuz that I will have no high beam.

just replace the bulb with a cheap blue bulb that's the same wattage, how often do you use the highbeams anyways. using a blue-er bulb for a DRL makes it look a lot more white since it's run at half power.

I see you have a 250 and as far as I know for the 2IS you would need to go to the dealership and have them turn it off. Most won't though because of safety and liability issues.
