Default Bohman....dissipointment...

Hello;

i have been searching the forums for the last hour looking for answers but am still confused, a little help from the HID gods would be much appreciated. I have Bohmen HID Kit 7500k instaled in my SC400. Now from the reading i have been doing an upgrade to a ls460 projector would be ideal if ran with a D2s bulb. now do i have to change the projector? can i just change the bulb, i am really dissatisfied with the current level of output on my lights.

thanks
Ryan

You haven't been reading enough...LS460 projectors are too big for our SCs. try tsx or e46 retrofit....even s2ks are too big.

If you still want to stick with pnp HID, change to a lower K rating...you're sacrificing output for color

yeah, you need to read a bit more. you will need to change the bulbs first of all, since your hid kit is a rebased d2s( maybe 9005 rebased?). and second, throwing in projectors isnt that easy, nor is it that difficult.
im not all that familiar with sc, but check hidplanet. they have almost all of the projector specs that you will need.
goodluck

np man...I'm against most HID kits but i've seen some 5000k on our blurry projectors and some of them turn out quite nice. IMO 6000k+ are useless
