Smile Replacing Headlights 99 SC300

I have a 99 sc300, and i am going to replace the headlights. I removed one bolt, and it came a little loose, but i still cannot get it out. Can anyone tell me how to get my headlights out?

There is 1 bolt on top, and 2 nuts inside the fender. You'll have to remove the fender liner to access the nut and then disconnect the light connectors and wiggle it out.

^x2. Yup there are two studs on the outside edge of each headlight. The easiest way is to get about a 12" extention and a universal joint(they're 10mm nuts.) Undo appropriate screws towards the front of the fender linings and peel back the fender lining. Reach up to the outer edge of those headlights, locate those studs and take the nuts off. Then CAREFULLY wiggle your headlight out. *NOTE: there is a tab that sticks out of the bottom of each headlight towards the center of the vehicle that absolutely loves to eff up your paint if carelessly removed.*

Peace,
~Joe
