Day Time Running Lights (DRL) and HID/Xenon
I read on the Xenondepot web site that the DRL must be disabled when HID/Xenon's are installed. I could not find this discussed - has anybody done this ('04 ES330) and how easy/complicated is this and is it reversible?
Thanks

Note also that if you have HIDs for your high beams, you should not high beam flash someone because the quick on/off takes a lot of power and will blow your bulb.
i think DRL cause a problem when they use the same bulb as your head light. like if your car uses the same bulb for lows and highs. not sure if its a problem when you have to seperate bulbs tho...
DRL is only a problem when your vehicle uses the same bulb for both the low beams and DRL. If your vehicle uses the high beam builb for DRL you have nothing to worry about when upgrading your low beams to HID.
