Okay night time shots.

I didn't feel like looking for a nice solid white wall, so I started with my garage.

Disclaimer**
1. The shields on these projectors are shaped to create a sudden rise to the right side. This is aimed off to the side of the road and is actually great for street signs

2. I haven't aimed these lights properly. I aimed the drivers side way to the left in an attempt to widen the beam. This causes the right sided rise to be closer to the center (see last image). Even as is, it is off to the right on cars in front of me and does not light up the cars interior in front of me.

Here they are

I do need to do something about those fog lights.

how wide is the shroud around the projector housing? end to end?
how wide is the projector itself? about 2''? or more?

im pretty sure the E46/TT projectors will bolt up with very little modification,
but im not sure about S2k or TSX projectors, i think they are about 3'' or so

damn,
thats not bad output at all.
nice.
more pics would be great. thanks alot.
try messing around with the way the bulb sits in the housing. cos that greatly affects the beam pattern.
not bad at all.

do you lose the lights in the high beam portion when you have the low beams on?

Next time I take the lights out I will measure the projectors and play with how the bulbs sit. I do think the output would improve with the proper bulbs.

If you're referrong to the wedge bulb than yes. It's either the halos or nothing. It seems like this would be easy to modify since there is a hole in the same location as the OEM wedge bulb is. I may play with it in the future but not now.

Thanks for the pics.

So the wedge bulb socket plugs directly to the Halos? No modification needed?

How is adjusting the low and high beams...same like the OEM units?

Thanks!

Pete

The socket for the wires exist, but they hook up directly to the halos. You'd have to either remove the halos to expose the hole. You might be able to move the halo aside or cut a hole through it, but it's not going to be a simple plug and play for the wedge light.

Adjustments are the same as OEM. They don't seem to move as much as the OEMs did. They require a lot more turns to move a smaller distance.

Is there a hole on the chrome side where the wedge bulb was? Or are you referring to a hole on the backside of the unit?

There's got to be a hole because the wires go through to the halos. I can't tell how big it is on the chrome side without removing the lights. I'll probably take the drivers side light out next week to play with the shields and take pictures of some of the other request.

Cheers
