i have a non-hid gs3 and wanted to put HID's in it.. would this kit work from ebay? is it a pretty easy install?
also is this a good kit to put in my car?
also i wanted to buy gs430 foglights w/ the yellow lights.. would i just have to unscrew the old clear foglights of my gs3 and just plug n play the gs430 foglights?
you are going to **** a lot of people off. why not go ask on hidplanet.com? see what they have to say about it.
don't do it. save up and do a retro, or buy hid headlamps. you can find them for ~300, and an hid kit from xenondepot will run you like 250-350 depending on what you get. it will be safer, and look better.
If you install the HID kit on stock reflector assembly, you will produce a lot of glare and blind on coming drivers. You will light up trees and be able to go squirrel watching on the darkest nights.
The solution? Aim your headlights low....very low. If you're looking for more light output then stock, the HID kit aimed very low will produce more light then stock halogen AND eliminate most of the glare.
It won't come close to a true HID retrofit or stock GS400 HID.
