Help with my LS430 Retrofit on my GS 300!
Hey guys,
I am in the middle of my LS430 Retrofit, and I am not sure what to do. I have cut into the reflector bowl, but I am not sure how much more to cut? I am really not sure how the projector should be sitting in there, or where to put adjustment bolts, or where to even start glueing it in. Any help would be appreciated. This is how far I have gotten.

Yeah, I understand that. My questions is, how does the mounting look? Does the projector have to sit further in the reflector bowl? What did you use to make the projector stay? Glue or bolts?

I'm no expert but it looks like you're going to have to make a bigger opening so that the projector sits farther back in the bowl. Try to make more of a round shape as far as the opening. You can use screws and nuts to hold the projector in place but you will also need some other kind of adhesive to secure it in place.

Keep doing test fits with the housing and make sure the shrouds clear everything. If not, shave some of the turn signal or have the projector sit further back. I used glue and bolts for my retrofit but I'm going to redo it. My projector hits the turn signal when I adjust my lights up and down. You can search for Tiguy99's LS430 thread. He posted a lot of pictures of the retrofit that you can use for reference.

I also posted this same thread over at hidplanet, and got some good help over there from JNC. Here is a link to that so we can all reference that as well. http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=32349
Thanks for your help guys. I will be posting more pictures later with my progress. I hope to be done very soon.

I made my mounting holes large enough to mount the projectors as far as possible and evenly and I used washers, loctite, screws, and nuts and for extra security I filled the cavities with jb weld once everything was lined perfect so my projector and reflector is one piece also you must trim some of turn signal tube and the lower part under the reflector bowl so you can adjust up and down and left and right hope that helps

I should have more pictures later this week. I have a harness coming in early this week, and I want to try and aim the projectors a bit before I take the bumper off. The projectors have been mounted and ready for any adjustments, shrouds have been cut, and the bezels have been trimmed. I have been dragging my feet a bit. I work on it a little at a time. I am in the middle of planning a wedding, and buying a house so I have been a bit busy. I really appreciate everyones help though, and I promise lots of pictures once everything is all said and done.

Some updated pictures. I am still not done , I have been really busy so this has taken the back burner. I hope to be done very soon though. I saw an LS 430 tonight and got motivated.
All I have to do now is wire up the harness, and adjust the beam pattern a bit before I take off the bumper and make the final adjustments.
I haven't decided yet, but should I leave the turn signal yellow or make it clear? I am leaning towards leaving it yellow. I am not sure though.
