the d2s/d2r 4300k phillip or osram bulbs will approximately run about 3200 lumens brand new and i think the d4s/d4r 4800k phillip xeneco bulbs runs at around 3800 lumens so if the price is not too much different, i think the d4 will be a better buy. hope this helps

go for the 4800K Denso HID kit w/ Rebased D4S/D4R bulbs 9006 H4 H7, base on some online infor D4 bulbs is mercury free which is environmental friendly and all newer lexus and toyota use it too. Beside i bought one for my sc and it's pretty good. the only problem is the buzz sound which all OEM lexus and toyota built with HID has the buzz sound too. btw the 4800K Denso HID kit w/ Rebased D4S/D4R bulbs kit is smaller than the Denso HID kit w/ Rebased D2S/D2R bulbs Xenon 9006. hope this help u.

this one has the spec of the different phillips d4s bulbs about 1/3way down the page : http://www.xenonvalot.com/
and this one here explains a little bit about the different voltages on the d4 and d2 set up.
