Is it true that HIDS get whiter within time?

Yes your hids will get whiter over time.

My OEM ones look bright white at night according to my friends.. At first they were like a yellowish.. but they have burned in nicely.

Yeah, I had the same thing initially when I first got my IS250 but now the green is gone and now its more like blue (since stock HID"s get bluer over time). Here is a picture the first night I got my car
