Ok this is probably obvious as I haven't seen it mentioned in other threads, but how do I replace the interior lights, especially the dome and map reading lights? I have a 2003 GS430. A quick inspection didn't lead to an immediate answer, and I don't want to break anything so I figured I'd ask the experts here.

wxman, Take a flashlight an touch & feel, by sliding your index finger a long the edge of the dome light. There will be a indentation or notch in the plastic fixture. Once you find it place a small flat head screwdriver into the notch and push forward, gaining access to the bulbs compartment. On the 95 Sc400 model the notch is centered in back of the dome light furthest from the front windshield. I hope this helps

 

For the GS, it's wedged in there pretty tight, so you need a small flathead, and pry it slowly... there should be 2 tabs on the both of the longest sides of the dome light...

i was wondering about the map light too i want to find a replacement for them but dont kno the replacement # for them. anyone know?
