Replacing Rx300 Headlight Unit
Hi Guys. I have been trying to find a post describing the procedure to replace the headlight unit on my '01 RX300 without any luck so I decided to post this message .
I got moisture inside the driver's side headlight and bought a new one off ebay.
Hope someone can help me.

Hello, and firstly welcome to CL.
Ok, I also have an RX300 and I was attempting a mod and had to remove my headlight assembly all together so the easier one was the passenger side that I started with and this is what I had to do...
I removed the 2 bolts holding the headlight assembly, one bolt is sits right on top of the assembly and the other is on the lower right side (remember this is the left side i'm working on) by the grill. And I also had to loosen the bolts that is running along the top of the fender to assist with removing the assembly. A little effort to move things so that the entire assembly comes right out is required.
Then when I got my entire assembly out I then realised that I would be better off with a "test" assembly or a damaged one to complete the testing of my "mod". sigh.
Let me know if this helps you any. Also, do you have any plans for your moisture assembly?
Good luck.
Regards.

Hello, You shouldn't have to remove the fender. You should be able to loosen the fender and gently pull it out a bit and then you can get access to remove it all.
It really isn't that hard, and trust me I was very cautious with my own.
Let me know how it goes for you.
