You might want to do sometype of a conversion. Your light pattern is very sloppy and potentially blinding to oncoming vehicles.. BTW, your kit is still a Xenon kit. this just describes the gas in the bulbs.

yep, that's what I'm saying. The projectors in the 97+ are different and create a more defined cutoff line.
I created a post on this a few years ago. Check it out.

wow. Thanks Iron Cobra. Im actually pretty satisfied with my lights, but always wondered to myself why there wasn't a cutoff line. Im definitely going to look more into that.

Do you happen to have pics of both of the different headlights side by side?

Thats really weird why your light pattern is so all over the place. Mine is fine.

I used a plug and play kit which cost me $133 shipped to my door. Took me 5 min to install.

I got the same kit as IronCobra http://sr1.clublexus.com/forums/showthread.php?t=251086

So far so good. I really like it.

I got the 4300K kit (white with a slight hint of blue) which gives the most amount of light.

I was wondering where I can get this setup on my 98 SC300, and also the bulbs for hid..

Thanks!

Also, make sure to mount it someplace that doesnt get hot b/c that will shorten the life of the ballast.

That's exactly what mine look like with 93 model headlamps and MobileHID.com HID's...

unfortunately it wasn't always that way... when the lenses were all gross, it was scattered, but after some cleaning and polishing, they now look like those...

I'll get some pics soon...
