Default is it bad to unplug the kit while still grounded??

See I have a philips kit on my 93 GS300. and tonight i parked in a place i didnt really want to because the other parking lot was full. so i was like well if they break into my car theres nothing to take, but i dont want the alarm going off to mess up my HID's when the lights flash. soooo i unplugged the kit from the socket that plugs into the car if that makes sense? it's the plug that a normal halogen bulb plugs into to connect it to the car. well i unplugged the plug part of the plug and play. and it's still grounded and connected to the battery through the relay. is that bad for it?

that's fine. that's the turn on wire for the relay. you're ok.
