2000 LS 400 clear corners.
Fellow members I'm looking to make my corners clear - (Removing the amber bulb)
and putting in Leds.
I've researched the forum, and can someone validate what I'm doing is correct.
I'll I have to do is pop out the old amber bulb and put in the LED towers (7440 amber)
I'm going to put this bulb in from Automotion... I'm not that knowledgable with resistors etc.
So I hope its that easy.
See the bulb I'm going to install attached.
I did not order them yet so I'm double checking with anyone who has done this mod.

its not that simple, the corners have a plastic surround on the bulbs that you have to physically break off then shake the pieces out of the housing.

yea, those would work fine.
when i did the RCR tails on my car i picked up a set of Chrome Amber 7440 bulbs from AI for like $2.50 each, i dont really care if my turn signals are that bright, more important to me to spend money on brake lights.
also, if u use LED's in the turn signals, they will blink MUCH faster (think hyper blinker on the ricer honda) because they have less resistance than a regular filament light bulb. The only way to stop this is to get a load resistor but the problem with these is that they get REALLY REALLY HOT and are known to melt plastics and the like.
Best Bet for the bulbs is Chrome Plated 7440's.
(tip, if u ever wanna go RCR, make sure to use RED LEDs, chrome plated red bulbs look toooooo orange.)
