Have 92 LS and the trunk mounted tail light cluster stop working. Originally had one bulb blown out on the brake light section on one side, whereas it would not stay lit when the park lights were on but would activate with the brake lights. Replaced the bulb and now both of the park lights will not come on; but will activate with the brake lights. This is the red section on the trunk, that I am referring to. When bulb was replaced, smelled what I thought was a burning smell, no smoke though and like I said, now the park lights (only) do not light up on the trunk. Anyone have any ideas on where I can start to look to try to find the source of the problem. Checked both wiring harnesses where bulbs are connected and all good. Where is the wiring ran for this section?? Took down trunk liner down and all was good, can't see where wiring runs under the deck of the rear window. Any ideas????
