Ok ppl, been having a bit of a problem finding articles related to replacing the little lights in the stereo and climate control unit. Id say about 80% of mine are out. Can i just simply disassemble them and go to radio shack and buy really small led lights and solder the new ones in, or is it so complicated that i end up spending about a thousand dollars for all new stuff>

Id really like to fix them because driving at night is the same as driving in the tumbler from bat man begins in stealth mode.

You need to use a resistor to limit the current or the led will blow out.

So i guess those are exact replacements for the backlights of the face, but what about the switches too. are those the same? Id like to find something less expensive, unless that is the only option.

also, im missing a switch cover on two of my switches, any help with those?

does anyone have a guide to disassembling the acc and stereo face?
