Instrument Cluster White backlight
Sorry guys, I did a search once before on this topic, and found what I was looking for, but now, I can't find the info I'm looking for after searching and searching..
Anyhoo, the issue is this- The white backlight is pretty much blown out in the middle section of the speedo. I saw a thread about how to take the cluster out and replace the bulbs (there were even part numbers here I believe) but for the life of me, I can't find the post! Also, I saw some articles on Lextech that shows how to remove the cluster, but nothing on how to get to those bulbs specifically. Luckily, the only needle blown out is the temp guage needle, although the others flicker from time to time in the middle of the needle.. I'd love to ship it away to be professionally done, but I can't be without my guages for however long it takes- plus, I'm a DIY kinda guy anyway.
Does anyone know where I might find this info?

Hey OLT, Love your lextech website, lots of cool products. Which of your products do you recommend to accomplish the following, and will I need to send the whole cluster in or can i do them myself??
1. Replace the speedo backlight bulbs -19.99 Standard bulb replacement?
2. Replace the needles with the regular red cluster set, or just replace the temp needle?
Thanks for taking the time for a potential customer...

I stuck this here since you are asking about plug and play led's. It pretty much consumes this forum.
You'll find however that they will spot pretty badly in the cluster if used. No amount of diffusion will work in the clusters stock position.
