hi,
anybody know a good place online to buy car light bulbs? please leave a link if you know of any.
also this sounds like a dumb question, but i'm looking for 1157 bulbs and I see some saying 35/5 w and 27/8w. Would the 35/5 be brighter than 27/8?

There are literally tons of sites for automotive lighting bulbs, but you just have to find what you want, I listed sites that carry lots of different brands.
