LS 430 projector question
LS 430 projector question
I saw a LS 430 on the highway tonight he was in the middle lane but the spread of his lights covered from the left shoulder lane to the right shoulder lane simply delicious can those projectors be retrofitted into a first gen GS 300 I think that would be a interesting thread

Not sure about 1st gen GS, but my guess would be no. The LS430 projectors are big and require quite a bit of room on the bottom to get the reflector bowl in the headlight ( this reflector bowl is part of the reason the LS 430 projector has such a wide beam output ). The retro natnut is referring to is mine being done by tiguy99 ( Mike ). The 2nd gen GS has lots of room ( being a factory reflector set-up ) for projector retros - like the Q45 projectors and the LS430 projectors.
I would think you could get a TSX projector in the 1st gen GS and it's output is pretty good with good color flicker, too. Won't be as wide as the LS, but nothing else is. Another good projector is the Honda S2000, but I believe it's a little bit bigger than the TSX and might be a tight fit in the 1st gen GS. Good luck.
