Default Creating HID kit using OEM Lexus Ballasts?

i have the opportunity to get a set of 98 LS HID ballasts and harnesses cheap and was wondering what i could do to put them into my '95. i was thinking that if i used a rebased 9006 bulb and a bit of custom wirework to wit the ballasts to the oem 9006 harness, then i should be golden. anyone have any ideas? anyone wanna help me??

Ah well if you make a custom wirring harness to handle the ballast start up current and wire it all up then it will work, but you have halogen headlights. So either consider getting professionaly rebased bulbs or do some sort of retro. By professional I mean the bulbs WILL have the right focal point, otherwise your light will be anything but focused. Since the 95 does have flutted lense's you cant really do a projector retro with them but maybe stick projectors somewhere else in the car. For ex the rolls royce phantom uses its main HID headlights which are in the bumper and the lights that are in the obvious headlight place are just day time running lights. Other then that get thoes ballast there top quallity and should provide you with years and years of happy lighting.
