Default Temporarily replace GS HID w/Non-HID?

Has anyone actually replaced GS OEM HID head lights with non-HID head lights? Any problems connecting up ( relative to the harness/bulbs, etc. )? I would like to use non-HIDs on my GS430 while my stock OEM HIDs are being retro fitted for projector HIDs, thus I will need to hook-up the non-HIDs to the existing HID harness ( this will only be for a few weeks until my retro is finished ). Thanks for the help.

Are the non-HIDs in worse shape? If not, you can just get the non-HIDs retrofitted. The projectors will not care if your housings were HID or non-HID.

Well, that depends on the non-HIDs that I purchase ( I have not yet purchased the non-HIDs ). My 2004 HIDs are in excellent shape and thats why I was leaning toward using them for the retro.

unless the old headlights are badly beaten up, you can always just polish the lens quickly to get it back to new shape
