Hey everybody, My friend got these off ebay and was going to put them on his es300, but he got the car impounded, too many parking tickets, and he sold it to me for $50. The ad on ebay said it is a hid retrofit that will fit the es300, mine is a 97. So what do you all think, will it work, and yes i have H7's on my car. Thanks.

I think you need to ask your friend for your money back. You basically bought halogen bulbs with blue covers on them....the ebay seller deserves a for advertising it as a HID retrofit kit...it even says "Halogen" at the top and on the box. If the kit isn't for H7 application (which I'm assuming it's not because your friend got it for his '93 ES, which uses 9006), then it won't even work on your '97.

Yeah, at the time I just bought it to help my friend out, because I'd like to see him get his car out of the impound, but I see now that the kit is a fake. It does say on the box, HID, in the first pic on the bottom of the box, but as you said BR1AN, they are halogen bulbs, not HID. My friend was fooled, although he does have a 97, like mine, the dealer on ebay said it would fit even though it doesnt say H7 on the box. Thanks guys.
