would you guys recommend after market hid's for our lexus gs's? and is there any difference between the oem hid's vs the aftermarket? thanks guys..

 

Of corse their is a difference between OEM and after market, but I think the lighting is the same, you may want to look on E-BAY for the whole assembley. Also PIAA make HID head light's but they are $400.00 a set of 2 bulbs. But you can buy the whole kit for about $500-$800 a set.

 

are you talking about putting hid kits in non-hid housing? if so, then yes the light output and the pattern are very very different. the hid kits has a lot more glare. the oem hid has better light pattern and better light output i think.
