There is a warning light that come on my dash, just to the left of the "park" indicator that lights up
when in the headlight position only. When the parking lights on are the indicator is not on. I think
this is the indicator that tells their is a bulb out somewhere. My question is why only in the headlight
position. All of my lights are working and on. The only difference, I think, in the headlight position,
and the parking light position is that the headlights are on. Why wouldn't the "bulb out" warning be
"on" in the parking light position also. Both headlights are working fine. All other bulbs are working fine.
It is a mismatched bulb, that is giving a different resistance reading causing the warning to stay on?
i talked to someone at a lexus dealership about 30 mins ago. dude said its just a light that says your light are on. and if u gotta bulb out, it will have a pic of a car with spikes coming out from the back of the little light up display. said its nothing bad and not to worry.
