Doubt any time soon. LED is not nearly as bright and clear as HIDs/

LED will probably be the next lighting standard after HID. But I don't think it will be for a while.
Imagine never having to replace your headlights again?

I don't know about you, but to me, HIDs lasting for 10,000 hours of night time use is enough to outlast any engine over the course of time.
