I have a headache from looking at all the HID post for the last 2 hours. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places.....but I have a question.

It is possible to interchange the ballast?

i.e. 6000k bulb in a 8000k ballast

as long as the wiring fits it should be ok. some of the ballasts for the 8000k they have higher power rating than the ones for the 6000k coz' they use more power to generate a bit more light. not sure if that will damamge the 6000k bulb.
