9006 hid on a 2000 GS300

i know this should be in the lighting section of this forum but this gets more hits.

i know you guy have done this mod. i need to know where you placed your right and left ballast and where you routed the long wire. most people route this by the radiator but is this safe since the radiator gets very hot.

how did you adjust your beam?
is there a horizontal adjustment on the headlights for the width (right/left).
i know there is an adjustment for vertical (up/down)

any pictures of the install would be great.

well im not henry or pete but i the way i ran my light across to the other headlight was actually infront under the intake section? picture posted below. i was in a hurry when installing or more anxious to see how it lighted up that i just did some quick zipties... but i plan to one day move the ballast below..




yeah i know my engine bay is dirty i need to do some cleaning

about adjusting bolts i scanned my owners manual.

 

for the record i didnt' have the extra wire, my hid system are independent each side.

so anyway, the wire in between, going it on the back of the radiator should be ok

 

my wire is not even touching the radiator, the intake scoop is what blocks the wire from going any further back
