need advice on HID catz ,have u had them?
need to know if anyone here has ever had catz HID conversion kit? I have a 97 es 300,I had inquired about some HID's (purple in color,or,ultra violet, whatever u call it) a friend said he hooked me up and has them for me (h7) but I'm not sure if CATZ make a good HID. I was originally gonna get some by the name of K-2, thay looked OK,those were about 425$....so, anyone, some info would help.......thanks

Catz had a great reputation here in the states until the ban on the halogen to HID retrofit kits. If you can get a kit, then go for it. Catz is probrably the only kit out there I would recommend that isn't made up of Philips/Osram bulbs and Philips/Hella ballasts. Getting replacement bulbs in the future could be an issue, so keep that in mind.
I installed 4500K CATZ HID(custom Base) on my 03' ES300 w/stock projector and Dual Beam 4500 K HID on 2001 Mitsu Eclipse. It has been a year since i installed them. So far, they are working Great. I mean, AweSome!!! No problem at all. I had my kits from liteswap.com and they gave me a good deal. However,i believe they no longer sell those kitsin the U.S. due to the regulations. I posted some pictures on gallery about a year, you may be able to find one.
