Question Question 95-96 tailights wiring?

I just cleared the orane/red in my 96 tailights, and came across a problem. I don't want to place a red bulb where the red part used to be, so is there anything I can do. If i place a clear bulb, then when I break the top is red and part of the bottom will be clear. Is there anyone out there who have cleared their tailights, please help! Thanks!

as a fellow CA person, please use red bulbs for your brake lights. Nothing more annoying than "hyper white" turn signals or brake lights. Besides, it's illegal to have anything BUT red as brake lights. You have no choice bud.... your brake lights should be red.
