For accuracy, this is the first production bicolour (love the Ferrari terminology) LFA as Naruse San passed in the bicolour prototype Ring car.
Any idea what the up charge was for this (I believe Ferrari charges over 10,000 euros)?
I would love to hand this pic to the dip sheet LFA product specialist who told me bicolor was a no can do option.

I was in touch with a dealer who has a car (the dealership owner's car as usual) to get a reality check on the invoice pricing info I recently found and was told the factory is no longer taking orders (no confirmation or correction received to date on the invoice info).
He added that there are some already spec ed cars at the end of the run that will be available (no details).
As usual, it is tough to know how much truth there is in the dealer speak.
The way I am gaming this is, if I can find a dealer who is sick of keeping 18 year olds away from the car and would rather use the money to put 10 ES or CT cars in inventory that he can sell and keep his money moving I would try a low ball offer. Since this is unlikely I am ok with waiting for the cars to age a couple of years and hope the market for them is bad (new Ferrari F12 with over 700 hp at the same base price as an LFA should help). On the other hand, if the used LFA market runs closer to that for Ford GTs, my game is a loser.
For now I just occupy myself with refinancing my investment properties to the lower rates while rents have been going up to improve cash flow and watch my Apple an Under Armour stock prices go in the right direction ( most days).

are you telling us you didn't get fb stock? come on
it's great if they finally sold all the cars, but sounds like even if so, those cars are "available" for sale. i am definitely looking forward to see how the pricing is going to be on this car. though with all the cars for sale so far it's seeing resistance imho.

After seeing the movie I cancelled my Farcebook account
I wouldn't buy that pig
We have a family friend who works for Morgan Stanley and they were none too happy with that mess (ongoing mess based on their recent quarter)
Back to LFA pricing
My sense is, corporate will not let the dealers communicate a discount for stock cars
The dealer I have been in touch with encouraged me to make an offer
The real mismatch with the pricing is I believe the LFA was built to last longer than a Peterbilt and much of the car high performance car crowd keep cars a couple of years and will not factor the durability/reliability into pricing
They just say an MP-12 does more or less the same thing, has cf construction, comes from an F1 constructor who previosly built one of the most crazy exotic cars ever made and has cool scissor doors for under $300K so gimme one of those please

while reliability is important to a lot of us (i would say most people posting here, except you and handful others, hehe), but we are focusing on the topic as 3rd or 4th owner, if that ever happens.
i am surprised that the dealer encouraged you to make an offer. that seems to go against what lexus is trying to do (keep the price)

Interesting color combo. Very subtle! Oh I'm pretty sure dealers that have the LFA for months now are willing to make deals because I doubt it's worth it for them to leave it on their showroom floors collecting dust, getting pawed over by young people, or possible getting damaged.

Yes, it's definitely true that you can't custom order your LFA anymore. That window was closed as of last year around August. So I guess there are a bunch of preconfigured cars coming to the US.(single digit)
Regarding buying already built LFA, I guess your best chance for a price reduction is to find a unit where the original buyer backed out and loss his/her deposit.
This is definitle a nice looking combination.
