Hi gents
new to the forum and LC fraternity. I have recently purchased a car (not a lexus) but as an avid lexus fan I noticed that the number plate I have may be worth a lot to a LFA owner.

I don't want to go through a plate selling online company...I only deal F2F and as someone who sells genuine cars and parts. Basically I am just a car enthusiast.

my number plate is L111 LFA (can be viewed as L (for lexus) 111 (for model 111 out of 500) and LFA (for LFA obviously).

No idea how to get the word out and it is a very rare plate, so I said I would start here. I need to work on my forum privileges probably but really hope this post finds the right buyer.

I don't understand this post? How do you sell a license plate? Isn't that illegal?

 

Depends on jurisdiction. Looks like he is in jolly old england, where its fine, and actually the DVLA (licensing authority) has their own auctions and sales for 'prized' plates.

I had a few really good UK plates while I lived there for various cars. Type in LFA and you can see there is not exactly a shortage of LFA plates. Also, kind of pointless unless you live in the UK.

Edit 2: For you NON UK people who just want a vanity plate that looks like a UK plate, lots of places there that will print anything on a 'Euro/UK Style' plate. Save your money
