Yeah, I had read it at the time I posted the video.
I was very skeptical of the track being closed down for 10 minutes as grounds for a lap with the intention of setting a record lap. I just think they wanted to go all-out for the sake of collection of data and comparative purposes.
I think Lexus will remain very coy about this new model while keeping a close eye on all of those LFAs sitting in US dealerships collecting dust. They really need to move those LFAs in the US before a business case for another model can be made.
