I don't know if it is Lexus' fault or not, but when the person switches to sport mode, it does not change the shift settings. Shift level remains whatever the user selected. It changes several other parameters, but the transmission does not by default go into the most aggressive mode.
I can see in the video that the shift level they were using was level-5 and not the maximum level-7. It has been an issue in several other tests I have seen.
I read you Rola, but it really doesn't matter this tranny is more Aventadornthan DCT which is actually not a bad thing because the DCT's are essentially like auto trannys. Good for tooling around town but no good for a true race/ high performance car. Takes the essence of kicking *** away.
