Anyone 'in the know' about the # of Nurb' editions coming here to the states? And are they repeat buyers?
I can ask again for you, but at last count I think it was 17-18 ordered (but I can't find my post where I reported it) with only a handful of total global allocations remaining - so the max to the US would be those 17-18 plus the remaining potential allocations.
We should really be seeing these on the road quite soon if they're not already out there. Even the only person I've met to have ordered one was scheduled for March delivery.
They used the red on red for demos (opening the doors and hood, raising the wing and blasting the stereo).
The red interior looks washed out against the brilliant red exterior.
Other stuff
LF-LC looks as good in person as in the pics
Lexus area had a nice crowd
The GS does not look hot.
The interior is a step up.
Goofy how the bamboo is only offered in the hybrid (really nice look and feel).
I sat in the GS F Sport with a guy looking to ducmp his Jag XF
I said, this will run every day and that the only car I have seen towed lately at work was an XF
He replied that he has had to have his towed and his had enough.
He thought the aluminum trim in the F Sport was crap and I agreed
No traffic at Lincoln
MB had the SLS vert and gull wing, CL 63 and an AMG CLS (forget the designation) plus xyz nice cars
Caddy Ciel is fun to look at and surprisingly low slung, ATS looks like a good entry level caddy
Acura had nothing worth while
Audi was swamped (love the S7)
Hyundai had good traffic (you could drive an Equus if you liked to)
Range Rover Evoque, I don't know why I like it so much but the design just speaks to me (must be the chopped roof look). I saw one on the road recently and just stared and stared
All the US muscle cars drew big crowds
The Toyota plug in and fuel cell cars are ultra modern
Liked the Parlee bicycle project (if a Prius was a bike, what would it be)
The McLaren was with some other high end stuff in an area sponsored by an internet company (I think)
The new 911 was popular but not the panamera hybrid
Kia was kind of hidden away
The Scion FT-86 looks cheap (sorry but have to say it)
There was a classic car group buried on the second side of the hall and they had the coolest car, a vert with pocket doors that slid back into the vehicle (struggling to remember what it was) and this was next to the Lambo club)
