Lexus LFA at Laguna Seca
He was slower in the 'Stang than R&T was, by 1.5 seconds. This might be insignificant but to me, it means he is not as fast at Laguna as others.
So, what I'm getting at is if he's a second off the best times, you could say someone more familiar with these cars could get better times.
Therefore the LFA COULD have been in the 1:35s or less. Even on those S001s. Just think if they had those Pirelli's or Michellin's.
Some awesome company the LFA is in already, might be even better than them. Just look at the specs! 1609kg, 560hp? While others are 600hp+ and have 200lbs. less weight!
Sorry but the LFA is awesome.

Sigh!! Tell me about it. I am a very 'ceasing the opportunity' type of guy.
That is why I questions things so much. I don't think I would ever get over the fact that something as simple as just by putting some seriously aggressive tires on the LFA in order to level the playing field with most of other supercars, could have brought SO MUCH more recognition, respect and admiration for the LFA and that is a fact.

I want a black or blue Nurburgring edition. That's the ultimate dream car IMO. Wonder if there are certain configurations of the LFA that would end up weighing less than 3500lbs.? I'm sure there is, but what would the options (or lack of) be?
Yeah, I think if delete a lot of the standard luxury equipment, getting it close to 3300 - 3350 lbs is very possible.

Why Lexus could not fit the LFA with better tires like the Nurburgring edition?
[On the Z06]
""I'll tell you what, much easier car to drive on R-compound tires. I felt like the car was really fast. It was generating a lot of grip. The Corvette is far better on this tire. It can handle the power. It kinda felt a little bit soft, which makes you feel a little bit...dull around the edges. There's less precision in the movements than other cars here."
