Did anyone ever get the production number off of this car? It seems that the car is no longer at the dealership and is at the owners house now.

No, it is at the dealership owner's house, not in the showroom.

If by "storing it on the showroom floor" you mean, "turned it into a deductible marketing expense" then, yes, that is what he did.
